Mercedes me: The Online Service Platform of Mercedes-Benz

Premium class car connectivity with “Mercedes me”. Daimler’s new service brand bundles existing digital services with new mobility and connectivity – available on smartphones, tablets and desktops. The project was a two-year collaboration between mediaman and German agency Scholz & Volkmer.
Both agencies already had more than 10 years of experience working for Mercedes-Benz, but in different areas. The client’s reaction was positive and the task was complex: a platform to use and maintain all new and existing Mercedes-Benz Connect services – informing, inspiring and entertaining drivers, as well as prospects. The goals were customer retention and lead generation.
A wide range of platforms, contents, applications and different systems had to be connected – a highly complex task. More than 40 employees from mediaman and Scholz & Volkmer added their specific competencies in this large scale project, which resulted in a comprehensive, digital services portfolio: “Mercedes me” provides Mercedes-Benz with a responsive interface for all its connected car services. The platform puts customers at the center and provides them with informational content, but also with exclusive advantages in safety, comfort and saved time. Practical apps and hints support drivers in their modern mobility, without having to leave their comfort zone.
“Mercedes me” creates a significant value for Mercedes drivers. The platform is a communication interface: the carmaker stays connected to the customer, the customer to the car, the car to a service. All the time and everywhere.
Both mediaman and Scholz & Volkmer are very satisfied with their collaboration for their common client. “Mercedes me” was delivered on time and with high quality.
