Vehicle connectivity for the premium level: "Mercedes me", the new service brand from Daimler,
bundles existing digital services with new mobility and connectivity - available on smartphone,
tablet and desktop. Envisioned, protyped, created and rolled out with mediaman.

Project Intro

Initially, mediaman and Scholz & Volkmer proactively approached the common client with a plan for a comprehensive project collaboration. Both agencies had worked for Mercedes-Benz for more than ten years – albeit in different realms.

The client’s reaction was positive and the resulting project complex: a platform to use and manage all existing and future Mercedes-Benz Connect Services, that should also keep customers informed, inspired and entertained. Its goals: customer retention and acquisition.

Project Story

A broad spectrum of different platforms, contents, applications and varying systems had to be interwoven – an extremely complex task for which a variety of specialists from the two agencies and Mercedes-Benz teamed up to work together closely.“Mercedes me” demanded a lot from our project managers: two agencies, one client, many stakeholders and team members, and a lot of communication needs.
